Our 3 Step Process
HOW WE DO IT

Design & Planning
The first step is to discuss your vision, budget, and any specific requirements you have for your pool. Once the custom pool design is approved we’ll handle the necessary permits/city inspections and approvals required for your pool construction.

Construction
Next, it’s time to dig and construct the pool. We’ll begin excavation to prepare the site for pool construction. Then we will install a double mat of steel rebar to reinforce the pool structure, ensuring its strength and durability. Using shotcrete, the pool shell will be formed, a process that involves spraying concrete onto the steel framework. Next, according to the design specifications plumbing and electrical will be compeleted. Then we will in stall tile and coping along the edges of the pool. The last step in construction is to apply interior finish coating to the floor and walls of the swimming pool.

Fill & Handover
The final step is to fill the pool & start up the equipment to ensure everything is functioning properly. We’ll provide an orientation on how to operate and maintain your new pool with the option to become long term customers if you sign up for our weekly pool maintenance plan.

We Contracted with Johnson Custom Pools for the installation of a backyard swimming pool, and basically installing a usable backyard on our steep grade property. This was not an easy job. We have the most amazing backyard makeover thanks to the good people at Johnson Custom Pools. We had already seen their work at our neighbors and being in the business as long as they have, it seemed like a no-brainer going with them. We had some limitations due to the property. Drainage was a big deal and it was engineered with this in mind. We most definitely did the right thing. We now have a sparking Pebble Sheen pool and a beautiful backyard makeover. It is absolutely gorgeous. Their employees and sub-contractors supplied us with great crews for the plumbing, electrical, masonry, stonework and decking. 35+ years in the business shows in their finished product. We couldn't be happier and they surpassed our expectations. It's always nice when the finished product matches the CGI design. Wow is all we can say!
